Course Description

The Nurses on Boards Coalition has stated, and NAPNAP agrees, that all boards benefit from the unique perspective of nurses to achieve the goals of improved health and efficient and effective health care systems at the local, state and national levels. Whether your goal is to serve on a national board, regional taskforce, hospital leadership committee or other type of practice or non-profit leadership team, this is your opportunity to fill your leadership toolbox with skills you will need to make an impact.

Registration Policies

Refund Policy

NP Leadership and Advocacy Forum (Sunday Only): We will refund your registration fees if we receive your cancellation in writing via mail, fax or email before Oct. 24, 2019. We cannot accept telephone cancellations. A $30 administrative fee will apply to all refunds.

Cancellation Policy

If NAPNAP finds it necessary to cancel this event for any reason including, but not limited to, registration responses, strikes or acts of God, liability shall be limited to a full refund of registration fees. Notification of a canceled event will be sent at least 10 days prior to the conference starting date, when possible. Registration refund will be processed within 15 days after event date.

American Disability Act

NAPNAP and  are committed to making this activity accessible to all individuals. The Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill guest rooms, common areas and transportation services are in substantial compliance with applicable public accommodation obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). If you need special assistance, auxiliary aid(s) or service(s) as identified under the ADA, or have a dietary restriction, please describe your needs during the registration process. Most requests can be accommodated if notification is received by Oct. 11, 2019.

NAPNAP will take digital photographs at the symposium. The photographs may be used for print and digital communications and marketing. By registering for the symposium you grant permission for NAPNAP to use your photograph in this manner.
